Policies, procedures and programs developed for people and communities at risk have the best intentions – they are there to help people that need it the most. However, it can be extremely difficult to understand their effectiveness if they do not have appropriate insight into the experiences of the cohorts they are servicing. Consultancy and consultations into these services can be difficult to find.

This is where Matt Vapor and Beneath the Surface’s consultancy services can help the most. Matt Vapor has lived experience in domestic abuse, domestic violence, educational disadvantage, youth violence, homelessness, and associated mental health issues. These lived experiences experience are uniquely utilised in conjunction with Matt Vapor’s professional background in local government, libraries, and adult education.

Matt Vapor is also a graduate from Murdoch University, and received a Graduate Diploma and Masters from Curtin University.

We work with a variety local, state and federal government departments, educational institutions, service delivery organisations, social enterprises, and non-profit organisations.
